Sebastian Orduno is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from San Pedro, CA who attends St John Bosco. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining physically. Primary left-handed pitcher, deliberately-paced delivery with balance throughout, compact arm stroke through the back up to high three quarters arm slot, does a good job generating plane and angle to the plate at release. Fastball worked 78-81 MPH with good arm side run, also commanded the pitch very well to the arm side. Showed curveball with 1/7 shape and very good depth; spins the pitch well and is able to throw it for a strike and as a chase pitch. Excellent job at commanding the strike zone with both pitches and challenging hitters; got both weak contact and swings-and-misses throughout his time on the mound. Named to 2016 California Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
