Grant Anderson is a 2020 OF/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Del Mar, CA who attends Torrey Pines HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, loose build, will continue to add strength throughout. Ran a 7.48 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with long and balanced strides, works through the ball well and incorporates lower half into release, gets on top of throws consistently and shows both strength and carry on throws out of the hand from an over-the-top slot. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open and upright stance, high hand and back elbow set in the box. Remains short and direct with swing path, linear plane and works the middle of the field with comfort. Has looseness to hands and able to incorporate physical strength into swing with carry off the barrel at the point of contact when on time with weight shift. Named to Underclass West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
