Kevin Brophy is a 2016 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Randolph, NJ who attends The Morristown-Beard HS. Big and strong build, third base look and future. 7.53 runner, moves well and is light on his feet for his size, nice backhand footwork, lower arm slot with very accurate throws, clean defensive actions and makes the routine play very routinely. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high hand start, swings down to the ball with a short and direct swing, simple swing mechanics, high contact swing but has the strength to open up his swing for more power. Good student, verbal commitment to West Virginia.
