2015 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Elijah Roe is a 2016 OF with a 6-3 182 lb. frame from Auburn, ME who attends Bridgton Academy. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and a strong but projectable build with present strength and room to fill throughout frame. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front and moves well on feet, comes through the ball and creates some extension at release, full arm action through the back with accuracy to throws. Moves well around the first base bag, attacks the ball well, shows a quick transfer and gets on top of throws with athleticism to actions. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread lower half and a high hand set. Small load at top of swing, shifts weight well through lower half in swing. Direct path to the ball, short and quick stroke with bat speed through the zone. Gets extended well, can go with the pitch and drive all fields with leverage in swing. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. God student.
