Zack May is a 2016 OF/C with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Bulverde, TX who attends Smithson Valley. Large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball, gets weight behind the ball and works around it, short arm action on throws with strength and accuracy. Also catches, gains ground with lower half on throws, quick release, gets tall at release. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand set and back elbow. Shows a short and compact swing, has quickness in bat, looks to lift, creates line drive contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Has tools that will continue to develop with more strength. Very good student.
