Chad Pinnix is a 2016 RHP/OF, IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Pompton Lakes, NJ who attends Pompton Lakes. Large, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Arm works well from the outfield, quick release on throws with strength from a full arm action, shows some carry on throws and getting on top of ball will help to improve it. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base with a high hand set. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing, length in swing but does a nice job of getting the barrel through, shows an aggressive approach at the plate. Stays balanced through swing, creates extension in swing which allows him to use the whole field, creates line drive contact.
