Jose I. Márquez Ocasio is a 2014 2B/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Rio Grande, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Smaller build, room to get stronger. 7.15 runner, plays faster on defense, quick first step and light on his feet, hands good at the ball, early ball/glove separation on throws, enough arm strength for second base. Right handed hitter, straight stance, upper half rotational swing, gets out front early, spray line drive contact, can improve with additional strength.
