Thomas Sicking is a 2008 MIF with a 6', 165 lb frame from Ellenton, FL who attends Palmetoo HS. Thomas has a lean athletic build with room to add strength. He has solid hitting tools with quick hands and nice extension in his swing producing solid middle of the field contact. Thomas has a line-drive swing plane and just needs to add a little strength as he has the tools to be a quality hitter. In the infield Thomas has a good feel for the game with hands that work allright. His arm strength is limited and he will need to stay at second base for the time being. Thomas is a player that could attract the attention of some mid-level college programs.
