Brett Miller is a 2007 3B/P with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame from San Diego CA, who attends Montgomery. Miller has a tall body with a good frame. His body is athletic and projectable. Defensively Miller has good footwork and moves around very well. He has good actions fielding the ball and is nice and smooth. His arm strength is there (83 off mound) even though he didn't show it off in the workout with his infield velocity of 74 mph. Miller is a very good defender and made a nice play on a slow roller in game. At the plate Miller starts with a slightly open stance and swings from a crouch. He has a good approach at the plate and stays on the ball well through his swing. He gets good extension in his swing and has present gap to gap pop. Miller pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and uses a short arm action. His arm works well and it is nice and loose. Miller hides the ball well and has good spin on his curveball. Miller is a good student.
