Forrest Smith is a 2016 C with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Maggie L. Walker Governors HS. Tall athletic build with good present strength, projects well physically. Very good arm strength behind the plate, quick release with accurate throws, 1.88 best pop time, good receiver with strong hands, 7.02 runner with the athleticism to potentially play other positions. Right handed hitter, rock back load with a high hand start, swing will get long at times but creates good bat speed and handles the barrel, solid mid field contact, has the hitting tools to further develop with adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to William & Mary. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
