2014 Caribbean Top Prospect Showcase
Justin Cintron is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Well proportioned athletic build with some present strength. Slow paced leg tuck delivery, keeps hands low, high 3/4's arm slot, gets some downhill angle. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, maintained his velocity well, gets occasional hard arm side running action on his fastball, gets outs with right handed hitters with his fastball life. Soft curveball with some 12/6 downer depth, will need to develop more power on this pitch in the future. Threw strikes and worked aggressively, has the tools to keep improving.
