Tyler Slagle is a 2016 3B/2B/RHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Webb School of Knoxville. Medium, slender build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.52 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a squared stance with a slight knee bend. Has a flat, line drive swing path and hits to the middle of the field. Arm strength is still developing on the infield and tends to get underneath his throws. Hands work well. Also took the mound, reaches 71 mph with his fastball from a three-quarter arm slot. Also mixes a 60 mph curveball with 11-5 action, needs tightening. Mixed in a changeup as well. Good student.
