Michael Fazio is a 2007 RHP/1B/3B from Kennedy Kenrick HS in Norristown, Pennsylvania, with a tall, lean 6'3"/177 pound frame. On the mound, Michael pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm action and minimal effort. He has a balanced and online delivery to the plate. Fazio gets sink on his 81 mph fastball that he keeps down in the zone. Michael also throws an 11-5 tight breaking curveball with depth at 70 mph that will be a strikeout pitch in the future. As a right handed hitter, Fazio has an upright stance with good balance. He has a line drive swing plane and makes consistent solid contact at the plate. Michael is good around the bag at first base and is not afraid to body up defensively. He showed a strong arm at 78 mph from first base and is versatile in the infield as he is solid at third base as well. Fazio is also a good student.
