Jacob Vesecky is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Sandra Day O'Connor High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.53 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, showed good arm strength with accuracy to the bag. Gains well with a workout pop time of 2.01. At the plate, started with a wide base, hand set tight to body, and a deeper hand load. Good acceleration of barrel to the ball with good weight shift into contact. Showed ability to drive ball in the air with ease. Worked all fields well with intent to drive the ball. Refinement of swing plane will lead to improved contact, but showed high offensive potential. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
