Barrett Loseke is a 2015 RHP/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Jenks HS. Slender young athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Athletic and efficient delivery, short arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, gets on top of the ball well at release with good extension out front and throws with angle, repeats mechanics well. Fast arm, fastball topped at 86 mph, mostly straight with 4-seam look to it. Two quality off speed pitches in his curveball and split/change. Curveball lacks power but has hard and tight rotation in the mid-60's with big downer 12/6 break. Change has nice arm speed with late diving and sinking action at the plate. Throws strikes with all three pitches and has an idea how to pitch. Fields his position well and competes. Polished pitcher who should continue to improve with additional strength. Excellent student.
