Justin Martinez is a 2015 SS/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Smoky Hill HS. Martinez has a medium sized frame with a strong build. Defensively he showed good footwork to the ball and played through the ball well. Martinez has good hands and a quick release with arm strength up to 79 MPH. He has an accurate arm and uses a long arm action. At the plate, Martinez starts with a square stance and uses a lower half glide to the ball. He has a calm approach and stays inside the ball well. Martinez made good middle of the field contact and showed pop to the pullside. He swings on a line drive path and has solid hitting tools to improve with. Good student.
