Nicholas Marotta is a 2015 RHP/ with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan. Extra-large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a low three-quarter arm slot with a shorter arm action in the back. Arm works well, full hands over head delivery, stays balanced and tall on back side, uses lower half to get down the mound well, some recoil on landing leg. Fastball topped at 84 mph with nice life down in the zone, showed both a 4-seam and a 2-seam fastball, which shows sinking action. Has a feel for his curveball which he worked between 66-69 mph with 11-5 shape. Very good student.
