Nick Serra is a 2015 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a low three-quarter arm slot with a long and whippy arm action in the back. Full delivery, hands over head, gets over front side well and repeats delivery. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with running and sinking action on the pitch, inducing ground ball contact. Holds velocity from stretch with ability to get to both sides. Shows a nice feel for a 10-4 slider with slight tilt at 70 mph and fading action on changeup at 74 mph. Gets low to glove side very well. Outstanding student.
