Bo Hogeboom is a 2020 C/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle HS. Athletic build with present size and strength with plenty of room to add more muscle to the overall frame. Primary catcher with good present arm strength on throws that had good carry. Accurate throws from a shorter arm action with a very quick exchange and advanced footwork. Quality catch-and-throw skills. Secondary pitcher with a clean delivery and a long, mostly clean arm action. Threw from a higher three-quarter arm slot with a tight spinning curveball. Low effort delivery with minimal fasted actions. Worked consistently to the bottom third of the strike zone with good direction and a good overall tempo. Mixed pitches well and showed good overall pitchability. Switch hitter with good barrel skills from both sides. On time with a quiet and clean load from the left side. Upright and open stance with an aggressive shift into contact. Created lift with good bat speed and strength through the point of contact. Turns the barrel well with the ability to turn over the barrel well. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Great student.
