Alec Gilman is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood HS. Big build and strength for his age. Right handed hitter, big stride into contact from a high hand approach, long aggressive arm swing, barrel tends to lag behind his hands in swing, flashes power when his barrel gets out front but mostly opposite field present contact, will improve as he shortens and simplifies swing, has the strength to develop as a hitter. Shows good energy on defense and hustles, developing coordination and skills for the speed of the game.
