Jake Perkins is a 2018 OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Cinnaminson, NJ who attends Cinnaminson High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 5.07 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows footwork moving towards the ball and uses a small crow hop to gain momentum into throws, moving parts to release but consistently gets on top with short arm action and tight release from ear with accuracy on throws, projects physically. Righthanded hitter, begins swing with a high leg lift trigger and a wrap to barrel. Full swing coming through the zone but gets the barrel to the ball, occasionally opens front side early, uses a pull side approach, shows strength when squared with best jump coming to pull side.
