Brennan Hatten is a 2016 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Fairfield, OH who attends St. Xavier. Younger, lean, wiry frame and projects to get stronger. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash. Bats left-handed, works from a balanced setup and has a good feel for the barrel. Makes contact to the middle of the field. Good approach in game action. Arm strength is still developing from the outfield but makes accurate throws and has consistently mechanics. Has nimble, athletic actions. Also has the hands to play first base. Also took the mound, tops at 72 mph from a three-quarter arm slot. Mixes a 2-8 curveball with solid location and good depth. Has a clean arm and repeats his delivery. Good student.
