Kennan Goebel is a 2015 1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Pagosa Springs, CO who attends Pagosa Springs HS. Goebel has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he throws with a short arm action with arm strength up to 65 MPH. Goebel has developing defensive actions and fields the ball deep. He throws uphill and was accurate with his throws. At the plate, Goebel starts with an upright stance and has a handsy swing. He drops his back shoulder to start his swing and has an uppercut path. Goebel has developing bat speed and developing balance at the plate. He'll need to make a few adjustments at the plate to help generate more bat speed and balance.
