Scott Clark is a 2016 C with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Irving, TX who attends Coppell. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and a strong, well-proportioned frame throughout. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up with a wide base behind the plate, short arm action in the back and gets on top of throws, quick release, does a nice job of gaining ground with lower half, strong arm with carry and popped a 1.87. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand and back elbow set. Even stance, short path to the ball, line drive swing plane, shows strength with consistent contact to pull side. Upper body swing, creates lift and carry coming off, stays balanced through swing and shows a feel for the barrel head. Very good student.
