Jacob Sandy is a 2016 RHP/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from New Berlin, WI who attends Brookfield Central. Medium, athletic build. Generates plane with and overtop arm slot. Creates arm hook in back of arm swing. Generates most of velocity from top half. Fastball has some arm side life ranging from 72-75 mph, topped at 81 mph. Curveball has some 11/5 depth with spin, was down in zone when staying on top of offering. Curveball topped at 63 mph. Attacks the zone with confidence using both pitches. Even stance with quiet lower half actions at the plate. Shows present bat speed with a direct compact path to contact. Game approach stayed consistent to BP with a whole field approach. Present strength with ability to reach gaps with carry. Shows compact athleticism in outfield. Present arm strength with violent action on throws to bag. Fluid through the ball and gathers to make max effort release. Good student as well.
