Luke Metzger is a 2022 MIF/C with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends Bishop Fenwick. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder, has a clean funnel out front and fields the ball cleanly, long arms with a loose and whippy arm action that projects well, pitcher's arm action, arm works well from a lower slot as well, solid overall middle infield actions and athleticism. Also caught, receives the ball well with the same soft hands, stays low in his set well, still developing his lower half actions and strength but has some potential behind the plate. Right handed hitter, has a short inside swing path and a middle of the field to opposite field orientation, can get off his back side more consistently, handles the barrel well. Excellent student.
