Jared Eckert is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Little Elm, TX who attends Lone Star. Eckert has a long projectable build. Has short arm action to 3/4 arm slot. Drop and drive mechanics, stays inline to the plate with extension out front. Threw downhill. Velocity projects with more use of lower 1/2. Showed curveball with tight spin. Had command of both pitches. Hit from a square stance, toe tap trigger and showed bat speed. Has projection on mound with size. Outstanding Student.
