Andy De Jesus is a 2012 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Small athletic build, good body for MIF position. Switch hitter, from the right side, simple approach with quick loose hands. Line drive contact with a mid field approach. From the left side, spreads wider than from right side, same approach with good quick hands to ball, contact isn't as loud but same line drive results, handles barrel well in zone. High average approach from both sides of the plate. Defensively, smooth athletic actions. Hands are soft and work well, raw arm strength won't jump out at you but release is quick with good accuracy. Knows how to play the game, Plus runner with 6.65 sixty. Named to Top Prospect List. Signed at Indiana State. Outstanding Student.
