Daniel Holley is a 2017 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from West Point, GA who attends Glenwood School Inc. Younger build with a lean, slender frame, and plenty of athleticism. Primary pitcher, but posted an impressive 6.87 time in the 60 yard dash. Left handed pitcher, rocker step into delivery, high leg lift, online landing, short, compact arm action and threw from a very high three quarter arm slot. Quick arm through the back with shorter extension down the mound. Fastball showed best life when working on top and down in the zone. Worked the pitch between 81-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph and repeated well. Showed a hard, tight spinning curveball at 69 mph with 1/7 shape and consistent bend from the same arm slot. Worked over front side with slight effort at release, but athleticism plays through delivery. Also showed changeup at 70 mph with short sink while slowing arm for pitch. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
