Patrick Allen is a 2017 1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Etowah HS. Large frame, lean build with long limbs, projects well physically. Solid footwork and soft hands in the field. Moves well to the ball, extended arm-action, ball comes out clean and throws across the diamond were accurate, and on time. Right handed hitter, wider base, high back elbow set. Toe-tap timing trigger, sits on backside, shows strength and quickness in hands. Flashed line-drive swing plane, solid feel for the barrel with ability to shoot the ball into the gaps, hit well in game action. Excellent student.
