Wilson Rhynard is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Waddell, AZ who attends Shadow Ridge HS. Large, lanky frame with athletic and lean present build; body projects very well. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.99 seconds. Hits with simple, quick swing mechanics. Small stride with minimal shift into contact, shows solid hands with ability to control the barrel. Hands work well into swing. Line drive swing plane with ability to use entire field. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves well to the ball and has smoothness in footwork. Fields cleanly, shows solid footwork at the ball and into throws, OF velocity clocked up to 79 MPH. Pitched as well, longer arm action with deep stab in back of arm circle, low elbow arm action through acceleration into release. FB worked 68-72 and topped at 74 with some wiggle to arm side. Showed deep CB with solid command, also flashed a CH with some deception.
