Matthew Morsovillo is a 2022 3B/2B/SS with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Orland Park, IL who attends Carl Sandburg. Medium, square shouldered build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.39 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, takes longer strides moving up the middle, deliberate actions at the ball, funnels into a lower arm slot across the diamond, shows accuracy across the diamond, overall arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a lower hand set and back elbow in the box. Utilizes a front toe twist trigger for timing in the box; upper body dominant swing, does a nice job of staying short to the ball overall with swing path. Keeps hands inside and showed ability to hit the ball out front, projects with additional extension to swing, linear swing path with occasional lift.
