Nicholas Wibben is a 2017 3B/OF/2B with a 5-11 156 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Santiago HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Sets up to hit from spread open stance, high hand set with high back elbow, deep hand load and big leg lift trigger. Swings it hard with good intent, makes sprayed contact to all fields with mostly line drive swing plane, slightly lofted at contact. Lots of moving parts in swing, does a good job creating momentum. Shows athletic actions defensively, moves well side to side, surrounds the ball well and fields cleanly with soft hands. Transfers cleanly, ability to throw from multiple arm slots effectively, clocked across the diamond up to 74 MPH. Excellent student.
