Thomas Wilson is a 2018 OF/MIF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Bearden HS. Very nice athletic build, good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a big pull back load, easy tension free swing with good extension and present bat speed, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel hard and often, projects very well as a hitter. 7.38 runner, arm works well in the outfield, makes accurate throws, moves well and shows athleticism. Also plays the infield. Arm action and looseness not the same from the mound, fastball to 77 mph, cuts his arm off front with a short stride. Gets good spin on a 11/5 curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Very interesting bat to follow. Good student.
