Cole Tracey is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-2 174 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Neville. Large, athletic frame with a long, lean build and projects well with added strength. Very good athlete, ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows a quick arm from a three-quarter arm slot. Has a high ceiling on the mound, mixes three pitches together nicely for strikes. Long hand path, stays tall on back side well with a small hip turn at top, uses lower half nicely to drive to plate. Fastball topped at 87 mph with run to arm side and some riding life. Changeup shows plus fading life while maintaining arm speed on the pitch. Curveball is a put away pitch with 12-6 shape at 72 mph. Gets on top of throws well from the outfield, moves well to to ball, tall at release, strong arm with nice carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and uses a toe tap trigger. Slight uphill in bat path, creates line drive contact and showed ability to hit to all fields. Named to South Underclass Top Prospect List. Very good student.
