Noah Thompson is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Louisville Male. Large frame with long limbs and an athletic build. Present strength throughout frame. Primary left handed pitcher with a simple side step delivery in leg kick. Creates a deeper arm stab back at separation with slight hook. Produces some spinal tilt to get arm to a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball showed steep plane at times with good arm side run ranging in the low 80's topped at 83 mph. Curveball has softer spin with good depth in the mid 60's. Flashed a change up with solid running action and fade, tends to slow arm speed at times with changeup offering. Commands to baseball well to each side of the plate. Effectively changed speed, missing barrels and inducing soft contact. Excellent student. Named to 2016 Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
