Alexander Antigua is a 2019 1B/LHP with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from North Brunswick, NJ who attends Immaculata. Large and physical frame. Ran a 7.32 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, athletic movements around the bag, smooth footwork releasing on turns to second and throws to third, clean arm stroke with accuracy, fluid overall actions, topped out at 81 mph from first base. Secondary lefthanded pitcher, compact delivery that begins with a belt high leg lift, takes arm back to a short arm action leading to an over the top arm slot, fastball is straight and topped out at 78 mph, mixed in a curveball with 1-to-7 shape, filled up the strike zone with his combination of pitches. Lefthanded hitter, narrow based open stance with a high hand placement, wraps bat at load, low effort stroke looking to lift, lets the baseball travel and works primarily to the opposite field.
