Chad Lusted is a 2006 outfielder from Centennial High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame. Lusted has solid speed running a 7.29 sixty on a slow and wet track. He plays faster in the games in the outfield and on the bases where he shows good first step quickness and instincts. Defensively he has athletic actions with a good approach. Lusted has a solid arm with good online carry and accuracy on his throws. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who doesn't take a stride at the plate. He has good hands at the plate and shows the ability to make adjustments and hit the ball where it is pitched. He has good bats speed from a line drive swing plane and gets good leverage at contact. He is a patient hitter with a good knowledge of the strike zone. Lusted has a high baseball IQ, and is a good student as well.
