Matt Eiswerth is a 2016 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Mentor, OH who attends Mentor. Durable, strongly built corner infielder with good lower half strength. Flashes athleticism. Ran a 7.18 60 yard dash. Shows a strong arm across the infield and gets rid of the ball cleanly. Has the actions of a third baseman. Bats right-handed, works from a medium base and stays inside the ball consistently. Knows how to use the opposite field. Has good carry off his bat and hits well in game action environment. Flashes power potential. Also took the mound, touches 85 mph from a high three-quarter arm action. Has a long, clean arm action and uses a three pitch mix. Gets on top of his 73 mph curveball and flashes 11-5 depth. Occasionally varied to 10-4 shape. Also mixed a 73 mph changeup. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
