Brett Long is a 2016 SS/3B, OF, RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA who attends Tesoro. Long has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. Defensively he has good footwork to the baseball on the infield with good hands. He has long transfers on the infield with good arm strength up to 82 MPH across the diamond. He has solid actions on the infield with some athleticism. In the outfield, he showed solid actions with arm strength up to 85 MPH. At the plate, he starts with an upright stance and has a coiled upper half. Long has a high hand set and he has some bat speed through the zone. He has strength in his swing and he showed some pop. Long pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He uses a full windup and he get some extension out front. Very good student.
