Anthony Alepra is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends John F Kennedy. Alepra has a lean build with room to fill out and add strength to his frame. Mid 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action. Repeats well balanced delivery. Fastball has good running action down in the zone, topped at 85 with more to come. Did a good job of mixing speeds and different planes to the plate. Change up is developing and shows cutting action, arm speed on change up matched arm speed on fastball. Slider shows 9/4 shape and is beginning to show depth, has makings of a solid third pitch. Hit in games but not batting practice, shows an aggressive first pitch swing approach, but stays with in himself and doesn't chase bad pitches. Named to Top Prospect List at the Midwest Top.
