Evan Sack is a 2017 3B/OF, 1B, C, UT with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Emery Weiner School. Large frame with clear sign of present strength. From the infield, solid arm strength on throws across. Good hands on transfer, takes his time to gather. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an upright stance, high hands, and a high back elbow. Short to the ball, strong kid with power to all fields. Consistently hits the ball hard to pull-side. Lower half rotates well to the point of contact. Occasionally rotates early. Also pitched, right-handed pitcher that throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball has arm side run and is located well. Curveball shows 11/5 break and has big break. Slider flashes sign of depth. Good use of momentum toward the plate. Excellent student.
