Ryan Duffy is a 2017 3B/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Waterloo, IA who attends West HS. Large athletic build, has a chance to be really strong as he matures. Right handed hitter, open stance, early load creates a still start, low hands, exaggerated inside swing path, tends to hit from underneath the ball, has the size and will have the strength to drive the ball with a different approach. 7.59 runner, feet work well on defense, gets in position to field the ball, arm strength still developing but makes accurate throws. Young athlete who should keep improving as he gets stronger and older.
