James Ruotsala is a 2017 3B/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Ada, MI who attends Forest Hills Northern. Tall, slender, athletic built with more room to fill out. Ran a 7.61 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and shows a middle of the field approach. Looks to make contact. Carries his hands high and gets in a good position to hit the ball. Arm strength is still developing across the infield, but makes accurate throws. Ranges well up the middle. Very good student.
