Maxwell Foxcroft is a 2018 2B/C/OF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Newport Coast, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Shorter athletic build, has some compact strength. Left handed hitter, very closed stance, mid to opposite field focus and direction in his swing, has a short swing with quick hands, high contact approach. Ran a 7.03 sixty at the PG Junior National Showcase, light on his feet defensively at second base, has quick hands and gets rid of the ball quickly, polished defensive actions. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.
