Elliot Ganet is a 2008 OF from Naperville North High School in Naperville, IL, with a 5'9'', 175 lb. frame. Ganet has good arm strength from the outfield, especially for a player of his age. He gets good reads on the ball off the bat, and moves well in the outfield getting to the ball. He is a right handed hitter who stays back well with good balance throughout his swing. Ganet loads his hands well and shows hand quickness in his swing. He stays short and compact to the ball with good extension out front on his follow through. He has a line drive swing plane that helps produce consistent contact from gap to gap. Ganet took a very good batting practice showing projectable power as well. Ganet has upside both offensively and defensively, and is a very good student as well.
