Yelin Rodriguez is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Arroyo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Broad shouldered build with good lower half strength. Extended 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot with good extension through release, stays balanced well in delivery, will open his front side early at times with medium effort at release. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight with some sinking action down in the zone. Curveball shows some bite at times and 1/7 depth, can add more power for a later break. Rare change up. Loose armed southpaw who projects to continue to improve.
