Peyton Fannin is a 2017 C/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Morehead, KY who attends Rowan County Senior. Medium frame, lean build with plenty of room to fill out. Primary catcher, looks the part behind the plate and receives well. Gains some ground, shows some quickness, developing consistency with footwork. Accurate throws to bases, popped a 2.25 to second base. Right handed hitter, even stance, nice repeatable hand trigger. Maintains good balance throughout swing, can get a bit rotational, shows ability to hit ball to pullside. Developing bat speed, hand quickness that will improve with additional strength, development. Very good student.
