Daiven Sanchez is a 2017 3B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Lake Hopatcong, NJ who attends Pope John XXIII HS. Large, athletic build with a long, projectable build and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 5.32 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball deep at times, shows nice carry and accuracy on throws with projectable arm strength, some effort at release. Shows athletic actions in the infield, full arm action on accurate throws across, fields out front well. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and an upright stance. Carries hands low through swing, uses strength well with good sound coming off barrel at times. Gets the barrel through the zone and looks to lift, creates extension at contact with the ball. Good student.
