Brady Rakers is a 2016 OF/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Aviston, IL who attends Mater Dei. Large frame with mature, sturdy build. Primary outfielder, looks like more natural position, moves well too the ball and shows aggressive actions and mentality. Can work too quickly at times and get feet caught, but shows good arm strength, hit 84 mph on throws to bases. Also plays infield, arm plays well at third base, shows good carry across the diamond. Right handed hitter, big open stance with crouch and high back elbow set. Shifts to contact, aggressive approach with good bat speed. Uphill swing plane, shows ability to backspin the ball and flashes good power potential. Good student.
